I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, allowing me to tailor sessions to suit your needs:
CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Together, we can explore unhelpful patterns and develop practical strategies to manage them, helping you feel more in control.
DBT is particularly helpful for managing intense emotions. It focuses on building skills around emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness and improving relationships.
Our Attachment style is developed during 0-8 years of age when the brain is most suggestible. We learn patterns through repetition and emotion and store beliefs associated with these memories within the subconscious mind. When trauma is presented in early years, this can lead to limiting self beliefs also called core woulds. When present, these affect how we show up in adult relationships. By reprogramming the subconscious beliefs we can become securely attached thus leading to healthier more fulfilling relationships.
This is a CBT-based approach specifically designed for children and young people. It focuses on providing early, effective support through structured, age-appropriate techniques.
This approach gently shifts the focus towards what is working and what is possible. Rather than staying in the problem, we explore your strengths and look at small, achievable steps towards change.
NLP examines how thoughts, language, and behaviour patterns are connected. It can help to reframe unhelpful thinking patterns and support more positive ways of responding to challenges.
I offer understanding and support to individuals with neurodiverse profiles, helping them explore strengths and challenges and supporting both individuals and families in navigating day-to-day life.
With ADOS2 certification, I can offer informed support for autism assessments and help individuals and families better understand the process and what it may mean for them.
