A Warm Welcome

Aspire Counselling

Hello, I'm Audrey, the face of Aspire counselling & couples therapy. I understand reaching out for support in times of need can feel daunting. It's completely natural to feel apprehensive. For many seeking therapy, it can feel like a big step, therefore I always want to provide a warm and genuine welcome and most importantly a safe space to talk. I provide a professional, confidential and respectful environment where you can share your thoughts and worries openly and without judgement.

About Me

I founded Aspire Counselling after many years working within the NHS as a Children and Adolescent Mental Health practitioner. During that time, I supported young people and their families through a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges. It was through this work that I developed a real passion for early intervention and the difference it can make when support is offered at the right time.

Alongside my NHS experience, I have also worked in private practice, continuing to build my knowledge and experience to offer thoughtful and effective support. I am a registered member of both the BACP and NCPS, and I am committed to working in a safe, ethical and professional way.

How I Can Support You

My approach is compassionate, calm and centred around you. I offer a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly, without judgement. Whether you are a young person trying to understand difficult feelings or an adult looking for clarity and support, I will work alongside you at your own pace.

I specialise in supporting children and adolescents, with a strong focus on early intervention. I believe that by identifying and addressing challenges early, young people can develop the confidence, resilience and tools they need to navigate life’s difficulties. Supporting families is also an important part of my work, helping to build understanding and connection during challenging times.

Taking the First Step

If you are considering counselling, you are already taking an important step. You do not have to face things on your own, and support is here when you feel ready. I am here to listen and to walk alongside you as you begin to make sense of things and move towards positive change.
